2020 Intake Information

This page is for parents of children starting with us in Foundation Stage in September 2020. We know that lots of parents and children will have questions about starting school, particularly at this time when school is closed. We plan to put as many resources as possible on this page to help you. Keep an eye on your emails for official communications from school, and if you have specific questions please do contact the office by emailing office.fbaily@fb.w-berks.sch.uk.

Online Platforms

In Foundation Stage, Google Classroom is used as a platform to communicate during lockdown periods, for work to be set and also for classes to be able to attend Google Meets. However, when school returns the Foundation staff will use Tapestry as a tool for assessment and to show parents what the children are learning at school. If you have an problems accessing either of these platforms then please let the school office know.
