Parents' Meetings
At Francis Baily Primary School, we believe strong communication between home and school helps every child succeed. Our Parents’ Meetings are all online and are a chance to celebrate achievements, share progress and discuss next steps together.
When Do Parents’ Meetings Take Place?
- Autumn Term – early in the term to share how your child has settled into their new class and talk about initial targets.
- Spring Term – to review progress, celebrate successes and agree next steps.
- Summer Term – instead of a meeting, parents receive a detailed written report. You can also request a follow-up conversation with the class teacher if needed.

What to Expect
During your appointment you can:
- Discuss strengths, interests and any challenges
- Review targets for reading, writing and maths
- Ask questions and share insights from home.
Booking Your Appointment
We use School Cloud Parents Evening, an online booking system that allows you to:
- Choose a time that suits you
- Join your meeting online via secure video link (need help?)
- Speak with your child’s class teacher from home or wherever you are.
Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your meeting link. On the day, you can also log into your School Cloud account and join directly from there. Access School Cloud here.
