Extracurricular Activities
At Francis Baily Primary School we believe learning doesn’t stop when lessons end. Our extracurricular clubs give children the chance to discover new interests, develop skills, and build friendships outside the classroom.
A Wide Range of Clubs
Each term we offer a variety of clubs for different ages and interests, including:
- Sports clubs – football, netball, tag rugby, athletics, gymnastics
- Creative clubs – art, music, choir, drama, dance
- STEM clubs – coding, science, Lego engineering
- Wellbeing clubs – mindfulness, gardening, eco club
- Academic support – homework club, reading club.
The selection changes each term to give children fresh opportunities to try something new.
Who Runs the Clubs?
Clubs are run by our own staff as well as carefully chosen external providers. This means children benefit from both trusted familiar faces and specialist expertise.
How to Join
- Club lists are updated each half-term and shared via My Child at School (MCAS) app
- Parents and carers must sign up to the wait list for all clubs through the MCAS app or website each time new activities are released
- Francis Baily clubs are charged at £10 per half-term (roughly every six weeks). Clubs run by external companies are priced separately
- Once your place has been confirmed, payment can be paid for via the MCAS app.
You can download the MCAS app from the following app stores:
