Governance
Francis Baily Primary School is part of the Equinox Learning Trust, and governance is provided at both Trust and local school level. Together, our governors help to make sure the school provides the very best education for every child.
What Do Governors Do?
Our governors:
- Set the school’s vision, values and strategic priorities
- Hold leaders to account for educational standards and safeguarding
- Oversee the school’s finances and use of resources
- Support and challenge the Headteacher and leadership team.
Our Local Governing Body
The Local Governing Body (LGB) includes a mix of parents, staff, Trust-appointed governors and community representatives. This ensures that a wide range of voices help shape the direction of the school.
