School Logo

Welcome to the PTA section of our website. The PTA is a registered charity (registered with the charity commission for England and Wales – No.1026341) and run by a group of parent volunteers who give their time to create better learning experiences for our children.  As well as raising much needed funds that improve our school, the social events run by the PTA bring the whole school community together.

Make a Difference
As well as fundraising, the PTA organise events which add so much to our children’s school experience. The PTA organise school discos, Christmas and Summer Fairs and our fabulous Fireworks Nights in conjunction with Kennet School PTA to name but a few.  This creates a real sense of community and benefits the children.

Let's Get Fundraising!

  • Playground sheds (£2,000)
  • SMART screen for hall (£1,993)
  • Playground equipment (£1,612)
  • Pantomime (£1,389)
  • Year 1 picnic benches (£1,200)
  • Webcams for each classroom (£1,050)
  • Year 6 leavers books (£365)

Second-hand Uniform Shop
The PTA run a very successful second hand uniform shop where you can find all items needed for the school day as well as a few extras such as Brownie and Scouts uniforms too. As of September 2020, you will be to check stock and purchase items through online by visiting our website >>>

We’re happy to take donations of any unwanted items too including coats, shoes, trainers, Christmas jumpers, as well as all guiding and scout uniforms.

Get Involved

Don’t be put off if you feel you can’t give your time, haven’t been asked or are unsure of what’s involved.

  • We have parents who work part-time, full-time or are stay at home parents
  • Having a child at this school means you can join us. We can use any skills you have and you might even learn new ones
  • Being involved is a great way to get to know the school and other parents
  • You benefit. It’s a great way to make friends, be involved in a group which can make a difference and can be a great addition to your CV!
